I was born in Stuttgart, Germany and raised between Stuttgart and Denver, Colorado. Being raised between two countries, I am passionate about travel and feel at home out in the world — especially outdoors, surrounded by nature.
In my career, I have shot everything from fashion editorials to travel features for publications such as W Magazine, Condé Nast Traveler, The Wall Street Journal and Schön Magazine. I have also worked with commercial clients such as Steve Madden, The American Heart Association and The Gerald J. Friedman Foundation.
Though I continue to shoot a range of commercial and editorial work, I am especially passionate about portraiture. I love using portraiture to tell a person’s story and draw out what makes them unique. My portrait series have been covered by The Huffington Post, Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire, and featured in international photo exhibits. In 2017, my "Transparent" series, celebrating the transgender community, was used in a campaign by The Gerald J. Friedman Foundation to highlight its transgender health and wellness programs in New York.
